This song was actually inspired by my son. Like many young guys these days he turns to drink and drugs when the going gets tough. The song reflects many peoples lives where the draw of the bar seems an escape from the seemingly mundane life at home and the stress of work. We've all been there. The key word - moderation.

This is a true love song. Nothing it seems can destroy this relationship but as the line goes " this life is so unfair." So true but true love never dies, even after three years gone.

Temptation, the tempter and the tempted as old as desire itself. And where better to tempt that desire but in a bar where drink takes away the feeling of guilt and common sense. " If you always want the grass to be much greener, your tears are gonna have to fall like rain" Always makes me smile.

About as country as it gets. A song full of fun that makes light of what could actually be a very serious matter, especially in the deep south where this song is very much at home. "Daddy's employed some good old boys to make sure I go through" Ha ha love it.

A Christmas song with a twist. We assume Santa Clause loves his job. Not in this song "the elves they want more pay and Santa needs a brand new sleigh" Don't worry kids, it's got a happy ending, of course.
